1. Introduction

Rare Drips, LLC (“Rare Drips,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect information when you use Spectate Live, our live, real-time, one-way streaming platform.

By accessing or using Spectate Live, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Where consent is legally required for a particular type of processing, we will request that consent separately.

2. Information We Collect

A. Account and Device Information

We may collect:

• Account information, such as your email address, Firebase user ID, public username, and account-related timestamps

• Device and platform information, such as operating system, app version, device type, and technical diagnostics

• Approximate location information when needed for core app functionality, such as discovery, availability, or displaying a general location to other users

We do not collect precise background location unless it is explicitly required for a feature and authorized by you.

B. Live Session Metadata

During live-streaming sessions, we may collect limited session metadata, such as:

• Session start and end times

• Session duration

• Connection and disconnection events

• Whether a session was ended by the Host, Viewer, timeout, or another system event

• Technical information needed to establish, maintain, and troubleshoot a session

Spectate Live does not record live sessions by default.

C. User Reports and Flags

If a user submits a report or flag, we may collect:

• The reporting user’s account identifier

• The reported user’s account identifier

• The date and time of the report

• Basic contextual information related to the session

• Information necessary to investigate patterns of potential misuse

A report or flag is treated as a signal and is not, by itself, proof of wrongdoing.

D. Limited Content Capture for Safety

Under limited and justified circumstances, such as when a report is submitted during a live-streaming session, Rare Drips may capture restricted session content, such as a single screenshot, solely for safety and moderation review.

Important clarifications:

• We do not continuously record sessions

• We do not capture audio for evidence purposes

• Content capture is limited in scope and frequency

• Captured content is accessible only to authorized personnel

• Captured content is not shared publicly

• Captured content is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for safety, moderation, compliance, or legal purposes

3. How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

• Create and manage user accounts

• Provide and operate Spectate Live

• Enable live-streaming functionality

• Support user safety and moderation

• Investigate reports and identify patterns of potential misuse

• Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security threats

• Improve platform reliability, performance, and technical functionality

• Enforce our Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, and other policies

• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests

Rare Drips does not use safety, moderation, report, or captured-session evidence for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Google AdMob, Advertising, and Consent

Spectate Live uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to request, deliver, measure, and protect advertising within the app.

Spectate Live also uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (“UMP”) to request and manage advertising privacy choices where applicable.

Through the AdMob integration, Google and participating advertising partners may receive information transmitted automatically by your device, app, or network, including:

• Your IP address

• Device and app identifiers

• Advertising identifiers, where available

• Device type, operating system, app version, and other app or device information

• Ad interactions and related measurement information

• Technical signals used for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, security, and approximate-location inference

Rare Drips does not represent that it directly stores all information received or processed by Google or participating advertising partners. Google and participating advertising partners may process information received through the AdMob integration for ad delivery, measurement, personalization where permitted, fraud prevention, security, and related purposes, subject to applicable consent choices and their respective policies.

Rare Drips does not sell personal information.

5. Personalized, Non-Personalized, and Limited Ads

Where permitted by law, and where legally required consent has been obtained, Google and participating advertising partners may use information from Spectate Live to provide personalized advertising and related measurement.

Depending on your location, consent choices, eligibility, device settings, and technical availability, you may receive:

• Personalized ads

• Non-personalized ads

• Limited ads

• No ads

Choosing not to consent to personalized advertising does not necessarily prevent all ads from appearing.

6. Advertising Privacy Choices

Users in applicable regions, including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, may be presented with advertising privacy choices through Google’s UMP consent message.

Where available, you may revise or withdraw your advertising privacy choices through the in-app control labeled:

Google’s consent form may allow you to:

• Manage individual privacy options

• Review or change previously selected choices

7. Pattern-Based Moderation

Spectate Live uses pattern-based review, meaning:

• Single reports generally do not automatically result in punitive action

• Reports may be evaluated together over time

• Moderation decisions may consider patterns, context, frequency, and other available information

• Being under review does not necessarily mean that a user violated our policies

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose or share information:

• With vendors and service providers that help us operate, secure, maintain, and support Spectate Live

• With Google and participating advertising or measurement partners through the AdMob integration, as described in this Privacy Policy

• When required by law, legal process, court order, or valid governmental request

• To investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our policies

• To protect the safety, rights, property, users, or integrity of Spectate Live or Rare Drips

• In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable legal requirements

Service providers are permitted to process information only for authorized purposes and subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.

9. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for:

• Providing and operating the service

• Account administration

• Safety and moderation review

• Security and fraud prevention

• Legal, compliance, dispute-resolution, and enforcement purposes

Examples include:

• Account data may be retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward when necessary for legitimate business, security, or legal purposes

• Reports, flags, and moderation records may be retained for a limited period to support review and enforcement

• Safety evidence, if captured, is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for moderation, compliance, dispute resolution, or legal purposes

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, operational needs, legal requirements, and the reason the information was collected.

10. User Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Request access to certain personal information

• Request correction of inaccurate information

• Request deletion of certain information

• Object to or restrict certain processing

• Withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis for processing

• Submit a complaint to an applicable data-protection authority

Requests may be subject to identity verification, legal exceptions, technical limitations, and applicable retention requirements.

Advertising consent choices may also be managed through the in-app Privacy and cookie settings control when that option is available.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no system, network, transmission method, or storage method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children’s Privacy

Spectate Live is intended for use only by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Regardless of any age or content rating displayed by an app store, users must be at least 18 years old to create or maintain a Spectate Live account.

We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to create or maintain accounts, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 through a Spectate Live account.

If we learn that an account belongs to an individual under 18, the account may be suspended or deleted in accordance with our policies.

13. Account Deletion and Limited Data Retention

When you delete your Spectate Live account, Rare Drips, LLC deletes or de-identifies account information in accordance with our account-deletion process, except for limited information that may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or enforcement of our Terms, Community Guidelines, or moderation decisions.

If an account is deleted while the account is subject to an active Suspension, we may retain the email address associated with the account, the date of the suspension, and the date the account was deleted for up to 90 days after account deletion.

If an account is deleted while the account is Terminated, we may retain the email address associated with the account, the date of termination, and the date the account was deleted for up to 365 days after account deletion.

This limited information is retained solely to help prevent users from bypassing an active or recent moderation action by deleting an account and creating another account using the same email address. It is not retained for advertising, marketing, or unrelated profiling purposes.

Any information retained under this section is restricted from ordinary user access, used only for the purposes described above, and deleted when the applicable retention period expires, unless a longer period is required by applicable law or is reasonably necessary to address an ongoing legal, security, fraud, or abuse-related matter.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal obligations, or data practices.

The updated policy becomes effective when posted with a revised “Last Updated” date. Where required by law, we may provide additional notice or request renewed consent.
